1) Do I have to start studying on a particular date?

Answer: No. You start whenever you want to.

2) How long does it take to complete the ITIL Foundations Certificate?

Answer: Most students take 3 to 4 weeks, for the 18 to 20 study hours.

3) What if I need longer to finish?

Answer: Simply let us know and we'll arrange for that at no extra cost. However, we apply a basic rule of reasonableness. A few extra weeks is reasonable, a few extra months is not.

4) Do I have to join in chat sessions?

Answer: No. The chat is there for those who want to use it.

5) Do I have to hand in assignments?

Answer: Final Assignments are required from those participants enrolled in a Best Practice ITIL course. The ITIL Foundations certificate has no set assessments that have to be sent in.

6) What is the difference between Foundations and Best Practice courses and the IT Service Managers certificate?

Answer: Our online Foundations course will prepare you to sit the globally recognised IT Service Managers Foundation Certificate. Our Best Practice courses give you deeper knowledge on a particular process area. The IT Service Managers certificate has to be taken in a class-room environment and delivered by an accredited training organisation.

7) Are The Art of Service Best Practice courses similar to ITIL Practioner courses?

Answer: ITIL Practioner courses must be delivered by an instructor. Our Best Practice courses are an alternative for those seeking lower cost expertise on a particular process area.

8) Why is there no sound or video?

Answer: We have built our service offering based on the lowest common system requirements. To add additional features would increase the cost. We have had excellent feedback that shows us that the material we provide will teach you about IT Service Management and the ITIL Framework.

9) What materials are provided with the course fee?

10) If I have to ask question during the study to clarify some doubt, where do I go?

11) I want to sit for the ITIL Foundations exam. How do I arrange this?

Answer: By far the easiest way is to find your closest Prometric Test Centre (www.prometric.com). Use the Locate a Test Centre feature. The Exam you want is called IT Service Management (ITIL). Contact your test centre to find out the cost and details.
